India clinched up the three-match series against west indies by marking a dramatic win in the last ODI of the decade here at Cuttack. Skipper, Virat Kohli smashed decisive 85 on 81 deliveries While the Jadeja measured shots and Shardul brutal hitting topped it up for India to register the 10th successive bilateral series win against West Indies.
The drama in death over goes on even after the dismissal of Virat Kohli as Shardul Thakur struck hard his facing delivery to the four. In the next over, he showed some power hitting, connect the ball well and pulled away Cottrell’s bouncer for a six, and manage to score 15 runs along with Jadeja in the 47th over of the match. Jadeja and Shardul Thakur seal the issue for India with their crucial knock in the end.
“Having done it so many times you obviously have bit more calmness about it, all you need is a mini partnership and the opposition will start to crumble. Shardul and Jaddu finishing is very good to see, these guys finishing the game is a much bigger thing. I had a nervous look when I walked back, but when I watched Jaddu he looked very confident.” Said Virat Kohli, Indian Skipper and the recipient of the Player of the Match award.
After the dismissal of the Kl Rahul, the Indian batting middle order fell like a pack of cards. Bailing the team out of serious trouble, The Skipper played a very crucial inning of 81 runs at that critical moment of the match. Unfortunately, Virat Kohli missed his well-deserving century as he played on Keemo Paul’s good length delivery and got inside edge to the stumps.
The Indian openers set it up, and played cautious innings for the team. Unfortunately, they couldn’t make it to three digits but have given an excellent start to India by scoring another 100+ partnership for the ist wicket. The new Indian right-handed pair shared a 122 runs partnership for the ist wicket.
Jason holder provided the much-needed breakthrough to the visitors by removing last match centurion, Rohit Sharma, in the 22nd over of the match.
Rohit Sharma, Player of the Series said that It was a decider and we wanted to win this game and especially here in Cuttack, it’s a good batting track. It was a little sad that I couldn’t bat longer, but then Rahul and Kohli batted well and I quite enjoyed that Shardul pull shot, it was much needed at that point.
Rohit Sharma received the Player of the Series award as Sharma score a total of 258 runs in this series.
In today’s match, he showed his great intent and Scored his 43rd ODI half-century. He batted at his own pace 63(63), and his innings includes eight fours. Rohit Sharma has played 28 ODI matches and scored a total of 1490 runs so far this year. Equally Graceful Kl Rahul scored an impressive 77 on 89 deliveries, studded with eight fours and one six. He caught behind by Shai Hope in the 30th over of the match.
“I don’t think there is much to be disappointed actually. I’m very very proud of the guys and yes we faltered a bit with the ball and in the field, but India yet again pushed us hard and showed why they are the number one team in the world.” said Kieron Pollard, West Indies skipper.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
